The M.E.A.T was renovated and today’s birthday in the family presented an opportunity to visit it after the re-opening. The staff and service was friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. Overall it was a great meal, the atmosphere of the restaurant was really relaxed and the outdoor seating area was surrounded by patio heaters for those cooler evenings. The drinks menu was also slight but offering a good selection of beers, ales and more. The food arrived quickly, hot and very tasty, we were both very impressed! The portion sizes were also perfect, our 250g steak genuinely was 250g and the chips weren't refriend and cooked long before, they were fresh and tasty.
